The word “Shiatsu” is Japanese for “finger pressure.”

Shiatsu is a form of massage based on Traditional Chinese Medicine that seeks to enhance the flow of qi by stimulating pressure points with fingers, hands and arms. Usually no oil is applied during Shiatsu, so you are encouraged to wear loose, comfortable clothing.
